Visit Cambridge is the official Destination Management Organisation for Cambridge and is owned and managed by a consortium of Cambridge BID, Cambridge City Council, Fitzwilliam Museum Enterprises and King’s College.

Visit Cambridge encourages visitors to Cambridge to make the most of their time in Cambridge and the surrounding area. Through our website www.visitcambridge.org and via our social media channels we encourage overnight stays and exploration of the unique offers we have.

Packed full of stunning architecture and nature, Cambridge is a beautiful university town renowned for its impact on English history, education, and pioneering scientific research. The tightly packed city centre is perfect for exploring on foot. Ancient colleges, cobbled streets, independent boutiques, a diverse culinary offer, and the picturesque “Backs” alongside the River Cam all offer the visitor a real taste of quintessential England. An extensive collection of museums, including the renowned Fitzwilliam Museum, and the Cambridge University Botanic Garden are great to explore.

Further afield some highlights include IWM Duxford, Ely Cathedral, beautiful national trust properties, and the stunning fenland landscape. Cambridgeshire offers some fabulous walking and cycling routes, river experiences, and opportunities to explore nature and see wildlife.
